Sunday, June 6, 1954 296 Syracusans Among 1,581 to Get SU Degrees Tomorrow 51 to Receive Doctoral Awards, 1,239 Bachelor Candidates Are Listed of the 1,581 students who will receive degrees at Syracuse University's 100th commencement, 296, will be Syracuse residents. Chancellor William P. Tolley will preside over the ceremonies to be held at 10 a. m.

tomorrow in Archbold Stadium. Doctoral degrees will be awarded to 51 of the 321 candidates for advanced degrees. Students to receive masters degrees number 270. There will be 1,239 bachelors degrees conferred, Leading is the College of Liberal Arts with 459 graduating seniors, followed by the College of Fine Arts with 166. The College of Business Administration will graduate 152! seniors, the State University of New York College of Forestry, 103.

Seniors graduating from other schools and colleges are: School of Education, 66; College of Engineering, 64; College of Home Economics, 77; School of Nursing, School of Speech and Dramatic Art, 42, and Utica College, 79. There will be 27 students graduating from the College of Law. Associate degrees will be awarded to 21 students, four from University College, 17 from Utica College.
